Arrests in Drug Trafficking and Firearms Investigation

The Saint John Police Street Crime Integrated Enforcement Unit (I.E.U.) have made two arrests following a 2-month drug trafficking investigation.  

On May 08, 2025, the IEU arrested two individuals without incident.  

As a result of the investigation, the following evidence was seized: 

Cocaine: 22 grams 

Crystal Meth: 4.24 grams 

Meth (ICE) pills: 51 pills 

LSD (sheet form): 22 hits 

Zopiclone: 39.5 pills 

Scales 

Baggies 

11 rifles 

7 shotguns 

Cross bow 

16 replica pellet guns 

The two accused have been remanded into custody, and they will appear on May 12, 2025, for bail hearings. The following is a list of charges:  

Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine 

Possession for the purpose of trafficking meth  

Possession of LSD 

Proceeds of crime 

Unsafe storage of firearms x 3 

Unauthorized possession of firearm x 3 

Occupant of vehicle with unauthorized firearm x 3 

The Integrated Enforcement Unit (I.E.U.) consists of officers from the Saint John Police, Kennebecasis Regional Police Force, New Brunswick Justice and Public Safety and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.  Their mandate is to target drug trafficking, weapons and organized crime offences.
