The Saint John Police Force is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Kody Hiltz, 29, who is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.
It is reported that:
On July 28, 2026, a Canada-wide warrant was issued for Kody Hiltz for violating the conditions of his statutory release. There is information that he may frequent the Saint John, Blacks Harbour, and St. George areas.
Hiltz is described as 6’2” tall and 176 lbs, with brown hair and green eyes. On July 27, 2026, Hiltz was seen wearing a black hoody, grey sweatpants, and carrying a red Budweiser cooler/ bag.
Hiltz is a first-time federal offender serving 4 years and 6 months for Fail to Comply with Probation Order (x3), Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Under $5000, Obstruct Public/Peace Officer (x2), Motor Vehicle Theft, Possession of a Weapon Contrary to a Prohibition Order, Unauthorized Possession of Firearm/Prohibited or Restricted Weapon in a Motor Vehicle, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Over $5000, Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose, Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, Careless Use/Storage of a Firearm, Operation While Prohibited, Flight from a Peace Officer and Dangerous Operation of a Conveyance.
Police are warning the public to not approach the suspect. Anyone who sees Hiltz or has information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Saint John Police Force at 506-648-3333.
