The Saint John Police Force is pleased to introduce “Getting to Know Your Force,” a new four-part series designed to give the community a better understanding of the people, divisions and responsibilities that make up our organization.
Public safety involves much more than responding to calls for service and conducting investigations. Every day, sworn and civilian employees work together in a variety of roles to support police operations, serve the community and contribute to the safety and well-being of Saint John residents.
Through this series, we will take a closer look at the different areas of the Saint John Police Force, highlighting the work being done behind the scenes, the responsibilities of each division and the dedicated employees who make it all possible.
The four-part series will feature:
- Patrol Services Division
- Criminal Investigations Division
- Support Services Division
- Corporate and Administrative Professionals
The goal of this initiative is to strengthen community connections, promote transparency and recognize the contributions of employees throughout the organization. By sharing more about what we do and the people who do it, we hope to provide residents with a greater appreciation of the teamwork and commitment involved in delivering police services.
Our first feature will highlight the Patrol Services Division, introducing the community to the members, specialized units and responsibilities that form an important part of our frontline policing operations.
We look forward to sharing these stories spread out over the next couple weeks and giving our community an opportunity to get to know their police force.
