On Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at approximately 07:00 a.m., the Saint John Police Force responded to a 911 call at a residence on Skaling Court in Saint John.
Officers arrived and immediately forced entry into the home and located two deceased male youth, ages 10 and 17.
Inside the residence police located one injured male adult aged 46. This male was taken into custody. Emergency personnel administered first aid and transported the accused to hospital with life threatening injuries. He currently remains under police custody.
The accused will appear in court at a later date, charged with two counts of murder. The accused was known to the victims and the police have no further concerns for public safety.
The Saint John Police Forensic Identification Services, Major Crime Unit and the Family Protection Unit in cooperation with the Coroner’s office continue to investigate. Police remain on scene as Forensics’ officers continue to collect evidence.
