The Saint John Police are seeking the public’s assistance following a robbery at a convenience store in the South End of Saint John
It is alleged that:
On Saturday, February 8, 2025, at approximately 10:00 p.m., a man, possibly in his thirties, approximately 5’8” tall, dressed in a black hoodie and black ski mask entered a convenience store at the corner of St James Street and Sydney Street in the South End of Saint John.
The suspect proceeded to assault an employee with a weapon and attempted to steal merchandise.
The suspect and two employees were involved in an altercation and the suspect fled on foot towards Queen Square South.
Officers searched the area, but the suspect was not located.
Both employees were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Major Crime Unit and Forensic Services were called to investigate.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses or anyone in the area that may have video footage of the suspect before, during, or after the incident took place.
