The Saint John Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision involving a truck that rolled over, resulting in one of the occupants being ejected from the vehicle.
It is alleged that:
On Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at approximately 2:30 a.m., emergency responders arrived on the scene of a motor vehicle collision involving a single vehicle that had rolled over in the 2000-block of Sand Cove Road.
A 24-year-old woman, believed to be the driver of the vehicle, was ejected from the car. She was transported to the hospital in critical condition, where she tragically succumbed to her injuries.
The two additional male occupants of the vehicle sustained minor injuries. One individual received treatment at the scene and was subsequently released, while the other was transported to the hospital for further medical attention before being discharged.
Forensic Identification and collision reconstruction were called to the scene to investigate.
Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone in the area that has dash-cam or video footage of the incident at the time it occurred.
