The Saint John Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual(s) involved in the damage and theft of several parking meters.
It is alleged that:
On July 14, 2025, Saint John Police were contacted by the City of Saint John. It was reported that Irving Security had located several “old style” parking meters. It was determined that 5 meters had been removed from 3 different areas in the uptown vicinity.
On July 21, 2025, the Saint John Police received a second report from the City of Saint John. It was reported that during the weekend of July 18-19, 2025, eight (8) more parking meters were stolen from the uptown area. Five of the stolen meters have been recovered.
