Police seeking public assistance in fatal collision involving pedestrian on Bayside Drive

The Saint John Police are seeking the public’s assistance in connection with a fatal motor vehicle collision involving a vehicle and pedestrian in the 100-block of Bayside Drive. 

It is alleged that: 

On Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at approximately 10:00 p.m., emergency crews responded to a report of a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian on Bayside Drive. Emergency First Aid was rendered immediately on scene by first responders. 

A 50-year-old male pedestrian was transported to hospital and later pronounced deceased.  

The Saint John Police Forensic Services Unit were called to the scene.  

The Saint John Police Major Crime Unit, in cooperation with the Coroner’s office, continue to investigate the cause of the collision.  

Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone in the area that has dash-cam or video footage of the incident at the time it occurred.
