Update #2: April 04,2025
As result of an extensive investigation and collaboration with the Codiac RCMP, RCMP Crime Reduction Unit, Saint John Police Street Crime Integrated Enforcement Unit and the Saint John Police Major Crime Unit, five individuals have been arrested for robbery in connection with this incident.
The following individuals have been arrested and charged.
- A 21-year-old female was charged with robbery and unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon in a motor vehicle.
- A 45-year-old male was charged with robbery and unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon in a motor vehicle.
- A 50-year-old male was charged with robbery, possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition, discharge of a Firearm with Intent to commit, disguise with intent to commit an indictable offense and assault with weapon.
- A 31- year-old male was charged with robbery, unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon in motor vehicle, disguise with intent to commit an indictable offense and assault with weapon.
A 41-year-old female was arrested and will appear in court at late date regarding her involvement.

The Saint John Police Force is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the female in the photos who is a person of interest in an investigation.
Distinguishing features of the female: thin built, long straight hair (portion of her hair is shaved under ponytail), tattoos visible on her neck and hand.

The Saint John Police Major Crime Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in an armed robbery investigation.
It is reported that:
On Thursday, January 9, 2025, at approximately 2:21 a.m., the Saint John Police responded to an armed robbery at a lounge on Westmorland Road.
A man wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with a white emblem on the chest entered the lounge armed with a firearm and attempted to obtain money from the cash register. During an altercation between the man and another individual in the bar, the firearm was discharged. The suspect was then seen leaving in a dark-colored four-door sedan.
No serious physical injuries were reported.
The Major Crime Unit continues to investigate. At this time, no charges have been laid.
Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone in the area that has dash-cam or video surveillance of the incident at the time it occurred.
