The Saint John Police Force is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Isabelle Kunkel, 32, who is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.
It is reported that:
On July 23, 2026, at approximately 2:35 p.m., police were notified that a warrant had been issued for Isabelle Kunkel for violating the conditions of her statutory release. Police attended her residence in the uptown area of Saint John to execute the warrant; however, she had fled on foot before they were able to make contact.
Kunkel is described as 5’4” tall and 112 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing light grey jogging pants, a light grey t-shirt, a black sling-style bag, white sneakers, and her hair in a bun.
Kunkel is a first-time federal offender, serving a sentence of two years, one month and fourteen days for Arson – Damage to Property, Assault – Intentional Use of Force, and Attempt Theft Under $5000.
Police are warning the public to not approach the suspect. Anyone who sees Kunkel or has information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the Saint John Police Force at 506-648-3333.
