The Saint John Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision involving a bus and pedestrian near the intersection of McDonald Street and Loch Lomond Road.
It is alleged that:
On Thursday, November 20, 2025, at approximately 6:09 a.m., emergency crews responded to a report of a collision between a bus and a pedestrian on Loch Lomond Road.
A 43-year-old female pedestrian was pronounced deceased on scene.
The Saint John Police Forensic Services Unit were called to the scene.
The Saint John Police Major Crime Unit, Forensic Services Unit in cooperation with the coroner’s office, continue to investigate the cause of the collision.
Kennebecasis Regional Police are assisting our Saint John Forensic Services Unit with traffic reconstruction. A portion of Loch Lomond Road between McDonald Street and Courtenay Avenue will remain closed as officers continue to investigate.
The Saint John Police have been in contact with next of kin.
Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone in the area that has dash-cam or video footage of the incident at the time it occurred.
